The "Chip" Award for Versatility

First presented at the BCCA National Specialty in Omaha, the "Chip" award is presented to the most versatile dog competing at the National Specialty. This award is named in memory of the first recipient of the BCCA's Master Versatility Excellent award, DC Britannia Chip Thrills UDX, MX, MXJ. To be eligible for the award, a Beardie must earn points in at least three different performance events offered at the Specialty: conformation, obedience/rally, herding and agility. Any combination of three is acceptable. Points are earned in each event by participating (showing in a class without being excused or disqualified), placing, or qualifying. Only BCCA events will be scored for the award.
